www.pwinsider.com/article/157753/briscoes-in-impact-rock-vs-roman-why-every-wrestler-should-still-want-to-be-world-champ-and-more.html?p=1BRISCOES IN IMPACT, ROCK VS. ROMAN, WHY EVERY WRESTLER SHOULD STILL WANT TO BE WORLD CHAMP AND MORE | PWInsider.com How can the Briscoes go to Impact if they were under contract to Ring of Honor? You answered your own question. WERE. No one from the old ROH regime remain under contract. Steve Austin has famously said long ago that if a wrestler doesn't have an overwhelming desire to be the world champion, he has no business a wrestler. Do you agree with this sentiment? Does this still apply today in a world where kayfabe is dead and buried? I would agree. What Austin was saying, which still applies today, is that every performer should have the want and drive to be the best at what they do. That should apply to everyone who have a passion for what they do in life. I totally understand where Austin was coming from when he made the statement. So who had the worst Stunner sell of all time: Donald Trump at WM23, or Vince McMahon at WM38? Oof. I'd say Trump. He was the worst. So let's say the rumors will be true and Roman faces The Rock at Mania next year. Do you see Rocky putting over Roman, or will they go he Austin-KO route and have Rock win one last time? It depends on whether WWE gets a rematch the following year. If it's a one time thing, Roman should go over. When Triple H fully recovers from his health issues, where does he go from here? NXT was effectively taken away from him and transformed into something vastly different from his vision. It feels as though he’s been locked out of any real creative authority now that Vince has taken the reins. It could be that eventually, he goes back to his old goals of establishing Performance Centers all over the world to better groom international talent. The pandemic let the air out of that balloon, but I could see WWE going back to that goal if things continue to improve.
