www.pwinsider.com/article/157820/roh-news-and-notes.html?p=1ROH NEWS AND NOTES | PWInsider.com By Mike Johnson on 2022-04-10 11:55:00 Kevin Eck announced he was finishing up with Ring of Honor this week as a result of Tony Khan taking over the company. In his final column for the ROH website, Eck wrote: "On a final note, this is my last column for ROHWrestling.com, as I am finishing up with the company this week. I joined ROH six years ago as a content writer for the website. Later, I took part in booking meetings and created and hosted The ROHStrong Podcast. As I’ve said publicly on several occasions, I’ve worked for bigger wrestling companies than ROH, but none better. The ROH locker room was filled with great people who have extraordinary talent, tremendous passion and a tireless work ethic. It was truly my honor to work with all of them. I believe ROH is in good hands with Tony Khan and I’m excited to see what he does with the brand going forward. As always, keep safe and stay #ROHStrong!" Next week's ROH TV on the Sinclair Broadcast Group, STADIUM, Charge and NESN will feature highlights of the following bouts: *ROH Champion Roderick Strong vs. Eddie Edwards - ROH Manhattan Mayhem - 3/19/11. *ROH Champion Jay Briscoe vs. ROH Television Champion Jay Lethal - ROH Best in the World - 6/19/15. *ROH Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham vs. Dak Draper - ROH 19th Anniversary Show - 3/26/21

www.pwinsider.com/article/157802/tammy-sytch-is-a-menace-to-society-pushing-cody-hof-and-more.html?p=1TAMMY SYTCH IS A MENACE TO SOCIETY, PUSHING CODY, HOF AND MORE | PWInsider.com By Dave Scherer on 2022-04-10 10:00:00 You can send us questions for the PWInsider.com Q and A at pwinsider@gmail.com. With this latest Tammy Sytch development (I refuse to call it an accident, her actions are no longer accidental), it appears her story has in fact come to a very tragic final chapter. Not really a question but would like your thoughts. To me, every judge/DA that allowed her to walk freely among the public are just as much to blame, in my opinion. I agree 100 percent. She is a narcissistic menace to society. She only cares about herself and shows that in her actions. Sadly, she finally killed someone. It always seemed like it was just a matter of time and it finally happened. The laws are just not severe enough for people like her. I hope that she finally gets put away for a long time. She will continue to put other people in jeopardy if she remains free so she needs to be put away so that she can’t. We all know how Vince feels about wrestlers coming to WWE from other promotions. See Goldberg, DDP, Sting, I can go on... Do you think Cody has a legitimate shot at winning a world title in WWE while Vince is running things? I mean, Cody did start in WWE, and if I understand correctly, they did own his name at one point, so will that help? Plus, the titles are unified now, so can Cody even sniff a shot at it? He certainly isn't going to beat Roman anytime soon, would you have him beat whoever (if anyone) beats Roman in the near future? After the great promo that Cody did on Raw, they could definitely tell a great story that culminates with him winning a Title. Will they do it? When the variable to determine that is Vince McMahon, well that puts everything jeopardy. He doesn’t always do what makes sense to me. Why did they not have anyone go into the Celebrity Wing of the Hall of Fame? Surely Cindy Lauper would have been a perfect fit. She is overdue. Lauper is a slam dunk if she ever wants to go in, for sure. My guess is that with the ceremony being at an odd time, and Undertaker getting most of the time, they just skipped it this year. Bummer, Nash Carter released. MSK was one of my favorite tag teams, such cool moves. But I guess WWE has to do what they think is best in that situation, even tho I may not agree. So what do you think will become of his partner? I think Wes Lee has a lot of talent and I hope WWE realizes that and finds a good sport for him in NXT. They could just have him get a new partner since his left. I guess we will see on Tuesday. This coming Tuesday Mandy Rose defends the NXT women's title against Dakota Kai. There seem to be two thoughts of mind from people across social media. The first is that this is Dakota's farewell to NXT with main roster call-ups about to go down. The second is Raquel turns the knife on Dakota to reenact the second part of a certain feud their partnership paid homage to and heads to the main roster as rumored after losing a match to Kai. Nobody actually believes Kai will win the title. In your expert opinion what outcome seems the most realistic? Is there even a hint of hope she finally wins the big one? If Triple H were still running NXT, I think there would be a good chance Kai would have gotten a run with the belt. With the current regime in charge, I don't see a good chance of her getting that run. You can send us questions for the PWInsider.com Q and A at pwinsider@gmail.com.
